"I'm going to look like Uncle Pipes when I get bigger!"

The Pool...

For the last few weeks, the pool has been our lives. Between swimming lessons at OHS, hanging out at "Pa's Pool (OGCC)," or playing at "Rio's Pool (No. Ogden Aquatic Center)," we've been doing a lot of swimming. Jake has NO FEAR of the water, as you can tell by his jumping off of the diving board and is swimming like at fish! Of course, Princess Kaycie just likes to nap in the shade by the pool.

The doctor's...

I took Kaycie for her first doctor's appointment today. Since she was born two weeks ago, she has grown a 1/2 inch and now weighs 7 lbs. 1 oz. She is perfectly healthy and doing very well. Of course she wasn't too happy when she had to have her foot pricked twice! She never cries I-didn't know she had it in her! Now we know she has strong lungs too!

Here's just a few more pictures of Kaycie. She's very alert and loves to take things in. However, she does still sleep a lot.

He's the Man!

First, Jake and his BFF Bode and Bode's little brother Josh couldn't wait for daddy to fill up the pool, but indulging in cupcakes seemed to help. Second, Jake was so excited to go to Mimi's and Pa's that he wanted to dress himself! When he walked into the room I couldn't help but laugh. He got embarrassed but I told him he looked very handsome.
